LOD started in October of 2004, and is located just outside of Dayton, Ohio. We are affiliated with the University of Dayton and Wright-Patterson AFB along with other private contractors.
LOD has experience in the private sector as well as the Department of Defense. This variety of experience enables LOD to sucessfully design any optical system. Each client will receive competitive prices with their choice of hourly rates or fixed design prices depending on what fits the clients' budget and/or purchase order requirements.
Client satisfaction is our primary concern. LOD will provide each client with a guarantee of quality designs and/or analyses. LOD provides only optical designs, the assembly of off-shelf components, the assembly of custom optics, and procurement services. Dr. Logan DesAutels and Kristen DesAutels are the owners of LOD. Logan has over twelve years experience in optical design, layout and optical analysis in the private industry and Department of Defense.
